A Snowy Day in January, 2009

The snow was falling, but those who braved the storm had a good time. Sharon arrived and won the award for most miles traveled to get here. We were glad to see her again!

Say what?
Wheels were spinning in the living room.

Char took a moment off from carding her angora. Betty sold two pairs of angora mittens, so she went home happy.

Serious Steve.

Happy Steve.

Steve is a hat-knitting fool! He has completed (yes, believe it or not) three hats in the last month! What a champion! He had a lesson in I-cord and he used that to finish one hat.

Steve, Heather, and Mike posing for the camera. I think we did more visiting than spinning this month - except for Elizabeth, Amy and Lori. They spun more than everyone else put together.

It was good to see that everyone weathered the holidays. We missed many of our regulars (Pat and James, Melinda, Kaylan, Madeline, to name a few). Steve had to come up with the jokes this month (raunchy junior high) and we all laughed (at least I did). We had our farm discussion (obsession for me).
There will be a spin at Mike and Heather's on January 24 starting at 2 p.m.
And, don't forget Char's shearing and spin in February.
