March-2010

No pictures and typing with one hand, this is what you get. Just an update on what's been happening. Pictures will come back in the future when I again have two hands for typing.

February was a great shearing month. We had our first shearing at Char's and it was great to get our hands into that cormo! We also had a new person come to the shearing - welcome to Dawn K. Hope that she will be able to come to more of our group gatherings.

The next shearing was at Steve's at the end of the month. Another new person came - welcome to Deb Y. Shearing was completed in record time and then we had a great afternoon together. Maggie and I each went home with a car-full of wool.

Also in February, several of us competed in Ravelry's Ravelympics. Elizabeth knitted an entire sweater! So congratulations go to her!

And of course, the knitters in our group never cease to amaze me. Sharon, Linda, Pat, Elizabeth - all bring their completed projects. And they are knitting lots and lots. The MPK award (most prolific knitter) could go to any of them every month!

I cannot knit and am having trouble spinning - I will be so glad to have this cast off. I can be on the computer (albeit one handed). But the photo thing is more than I can bear right now. Maybe next month.

Lambs are being born. Our weather is changing as spring arrives. Hoping to see everyone at our next spin on April 18.
