A September Without Pictures

The camera never came out on Sunday, so we have a September spin without pictures. Since I always seem to have issues with putting pictures on, this is okay for me.

We had a smaller than normal group, but it was a lot of fun for those present. We had newbies this month. One was Suzanne from Holland. A few of us had met her before, and it was really good to have her at our spin/knit. Two others were Darlene and Tom who were there to observe. Hoping they had a good time.

Daphne stopped in briefly to pick up top and bobbins (almost like top and bottom, only different). She shared her very exciting news with us by showing us a picture of her ultrasound...

The food was excellent (as usual). We had a cake to celebrate the milestone for Suzie and me.

We missed those who were absent (you know who you are/were).

Madeline thanks Suzie for the yarn donation for her charity knitting. Remember that Madeline is happy to accept any yarn, even small amounts, to go into knitting for those less fortunate than ourselves.

Again, Linda got the award for MPK (Most Prolific Knitter). She brought a lovely baby blanket that she was going to have to tear out because she did not have enough yarn to finish it. Breaks my heart to think of it. But what was done was very lovely.

Stephen is still working - HURRAY! And finding that all jobs suck to some extent. Hoping that his arm injury won't be another set-back for him.

October's spin will be another small group as it is the same weekend as the Ann Arbor thingy. Oh well. Maybe we'll be back up to speed in November.

Wow! This month's blog is really very ho-hum. Oh well. We were just a very much more sedate group. I am thinking that Elizabeth really might be the instigator...

Hope to see you October 24!
